Aspen (CO) considers its plastic bag reduction options

As of February 2011, Aspen, CO is considering a 5 to 20-cent fee on all single-use carryout bags or a ban on plastic bags.  The City of Aspen hopes to work with other local municipalities (Basalt, Carbondale, Snowmass Village, Glenwood Springs) to create a regional approach.
