A Special Announcement: Jennie Romer's First Book

We are pleased to announce that PBL’s site founder, Jennie Romer, released Can I Recycle This? on Penguin Books last month. 

Can I Recycle This? is an illustrated guide and tour of how recycling actually works. With a focus on single-use plastics, productive policy-making, and the full lifecycle of the products we use each day, Can I Recycle This? is a user-friendly guide that, above all else, teaches you what can and can’t be recycled! 

One big theme is that many single-use plastics are not currently recyclable and Jennie’s emphasis is on corporate responsibility as well as public awareness.
