Drawing on the efforts of Surfrider’s grassroots chapter network, The Surfrider Foundation has compiled a dataset that showcases over 1,000 U.S. plastic reduction laws. This map is the first visualization of Surfrider’s dataset and currently features bag, polystyrene, and straw laws.

The next version of Surfrider’s U.S. map, expected late this summer, will include even more policy types and details, with a global focus. For other helpful maps, don’t forget to check out PBL’s Resources page, and especially our Preemption Watch Map, also with Grassroots Change.
