Long Beach (CA) Bans Plastic Bags

On Tuesday, the Long Beach City Council passed its plastic bag ordinance.  The ordinance was adopted based on LA County's EIR and an addendum.  Long Beach was the first city to supplement a county's EIR for a plastic bag ordinance. Read the full article here.
