San Francisco Board of Supervisors Vote to Continue Decision on Expanded Plastic Bag Ordinance

Today the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to continue its decision on whether to adopt the proposed expanded plastic bag ordinance.  The Board unanimously agreed that the plastic bag ordinance should eventually be adopted, but Supervisor Jane Kim pushed for a continuance citing concerns regarding outreach to small businesses. The hearing is scheduled for February 7th at 2 p.m.
